Subconscious is any neural activity which has the potential to be conscious, but at the moment is processed below the level of consciousness. In contrast to unconscious information processing, subconscious processing contains meaning (semantic information). Intuition is a good example for subconscious information processing. In other words, intuition means thinking below the level of consciousness whereby only the output enters the stream of consciousness. from Peter Walla
